1. What Wattalo does

Wattalo generates cycling loop suggestions from a starting location, available ride time, target power, direction and route preferences, rider and bike parameters, and optional workout settings.

Wattalo is not currently a general destination, commute, emergency, or turn-by-turn navigation service.

2. Route suggestions and cycling safety

Wattalo provides route suggestions and estimates. It does not guarantee that a suggested route is always safe, legal, open, passable, or suitable for cycling.

Map, road, and access data may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or different from real conditions. Traffic, weather, road surfaces, construction, and access conditions can change before or during a ride.

You must follow actual road signs, traffic laws, closures, access restrictions, one-way rules, police or other authority instructions, and local conditions. If a Wattalo suggestion conflicts with them, follow the real-world rule instead of the app. This expressly includes suggestions that could lead toward wrong-way travel, prohibited access, closed roads, unsafe segments, or roads that bicycles may not legally use.

You are responsible for deciding whether each route and segment can be ridden safely and legally under current conditions, checking your equipment and ability, and turning back when appropriate. Cycling inherently involves risks including collision, falls, injury, property damage, changing weather, and traffic. Do not operate Wattalo while riding in a way that distracts you from safe cycling.

3. Estimates and best-available results

Power, time, distance, gradient, elevation, surface, route quality, traffic and access suitability, workout fit, and similar planner outputs are estimates based on available data and the values you provide.

Generation can fail or return an imperfect or best-available route that differs materially from your requested duration, direction, route style, or workout structure. Review warnings and the complete route before riding.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Google sign-in links an external Google identity to an opaque Wattalo user ID. Keep access to your Google account secure.

Do not attack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer for abuse, bypass quotas or access controls, submit unlawful material, interfere with other riders, or use automated traffic beyond ordinary personal use.

5. Free, Pro and Admin

Free permits one successfully generated route per Europe/Budapest calendar day. Failed or no-route outcomes do not intentionally consume that daily route.

Pro removes the Free daily generated-route quota while Paddle reports the subscription active or trialing. Operational capacity, abuse-prevention and reasonable-use limits may still apply.

Admin is an internal unrestricted entitlement and is not sold publicly. Billing events never override Admin precedence.

6. Subscription, cancellation and refunds

The billing period, amount, currency, taxes and final total are shown before purchase. When billing is enabled, Paddle provides the hosted checkout and subscription platform.

You may cancel future renewal through the Paddle Customer Portal once billing is enabled. Cancellation follows the subscription lifecycle and is not automatically a refund. Pro remains available while Paddle reports the subscription active or trialing and ends when that status changes.

Refunds are handled under the separate Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Availability, changes and responsibility

Wattalo may change, suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, security, capacity or product reasons. We aim for a useful service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

8. Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice. Send questions, cancellation issues, and legal notices to support@wattalo.com.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms and the use of the Wattalo service are governed by Hungarian law. If the user is a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive them of any mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence that cannot be departed from by agreement.

In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at support@wattalo.com so that we can try to resolve the dispute directly. A consumer may apply to any conciliation body, consumer protection authority, or court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
